The James Brown Tribute Show is a live concert production dedicated to celebrating the music and legacy of James Brown, widely known as "The Godfather of Soul". The show recreates the energy, musical precision and stage dynamics that defined James Brown’s legendary performances. Built around authentic arrangements and driven by powerful rhythm sections, the production delivers the unmistakable sound of classic soul and funk. The show is available as a solo performance of up to 60 minutes or with a live band of four to eight musicians for an extended performance of up to 75 minutes. A full production option with additional stage performers is also available. The production has toured theatres, arenas, festivals and cruise venues across the UK, Europe and international markets.
This is a professional vocalist and musician with more than 15 years of experience as a frontman, lead guitarist and keyboard player with The Mark’s Bros. During his career he has performed alongside internationally recognised soul and funk artists including Ben E. King, The Commodores, Gladys Knight, Edwin Starr, Rose Royce and Shalamar. His long standing dedication to soul music and his distinctive vocal tone naturally led him to develop a tribute to James Brown.
The production has received strong reviews across the United Kingdom and Europe and has earned him two National Tribute Awards for his celebration of James Brown’s music. Career highlights include touring theatres and arenas as part of the Jake and Elwood Blues Brothers Show, live television appearances in Bulgaria and Finland, starring in the theatre production I Feel Good and performing for P&O and Viking cruise audiences across Europe, Australia and Asia.
